Restoring a Hand-Painted Charles Yorke Kitchen.
Our final project of 2024 involved the restoration of a stunning Charles Yorke kitchen near Bowling. While the kitchen remained functional, it had experienced some wear and tear over time. Our client sought to elevate the kitchen's appearance with a high-quality repaint and repair work.
The scope of the project included replacing worn kickboards, meticulously repairing damage on lower cabinets, and polishing the existing hardware. To ensure our client's complete satisfaction, we presented them with a hand-painted sample showcasing the chosen color: "Smoke" by Benjamin Moore, a sophisticated gray with subtle blue-green undertones.
The entire project was completed to the highest standards within a week, exceeding our client's expectations.
This project exemplifies the enduring appeal of hand-painted kitchens. Beyond their aesthetic beauty, they offer exceptional durability and repairability, surpassing the limitations of factory-applied finishes. Furthermore, hand-painting presents a more environmentally conscious approach to kitchen renovation.
