We were asked to transform these plain wooden units into a hand painted kitchen. Our clients thought it was starting to look dated and wanted a fresh look while still keeping a contemporary feel and opted to also change the worktops to finish the look.

Although the cabinets where in very good condition the clients wanted to lighten the entire look in the kitchen and choose Little Greene French Grey Pale, a contemporary light grey paint colour which is a lighter shade of Little Greene's classic French Grey paint

The kitchen had smooth doors with unique integrated hand pulls which we removed to take to our workshop. All had been degreased and cleaned, it was then to be sanded down using our Festool dustless sanding units.

The doors then receive two coats of Tikkurila adhesion primer. The top coats used were Intelligent Eggshell Paint which gives a perfect satin finish. The client had just had their worktops replaced with the kitchen finished on time and within budget it brought the whole project to a great finish.
