This kitchen may have only been five years old, but the vinyl covers were falling apart, literally held together with tape. Traditional Hand Painted knew it was time for a transformation!

Upon arrival, our inspection revealed all the cabinets and drawers suffered the same fate. We carefully removed the doors and drawers, transporting them back to our workshop. As you can see, the vinyl practically peeled itself off and in some cabinets large hole were visible on the doors.

With the vinyl gone, we meticulously sanded and cleaned the MDF cores, ensuring a flawless base for the paint. A special adhesion primer was applied and left to dry for a full day, before achieving a smooth finish with additional sanding.

For the colour, our client opted for "November Skies" from Benjamin Moore – a delightful soft light Blue that perfectly complements their space. With three coats of this hard-wearing eggshell paint applied to the entire kitchen, including carcasses, doors, drawers, mouldings, and kickboards, the transformation was complete in just five days.

The result? A stunning, completely rejuvenated kitchen that left the client absolutely delighted.
