Our client contacted me through my facebook page. They explained that although they were happy with the layout of their kitchen, they no longer liked the ‘real wood’ effect and some of the cabinet doors had some damage. Rather than replacing the kitchen, they chose to renovate it by changing the colour to something fresh and modern and replacing the floor.

The damaged doors where repaired and sanded before being degreased. The laminated covers were primed to give the finishing paint a solid surface for the final 3 coats of eggshell paint. The client chose Little Greene Paint in French Grey Mid which has been specially designed to add a sophisticated look to your home. This delightful shade is a variant on the popular French Grey tone from Little Greene and works especially well in kitchens and utility rooms.

The old laminated kitchen has been fully transformed and given a new modern look. This has all been achieved at a small fraction of the cost of replacing it for a new kitchen, and with very minimal upheaval and disruption to the home and clients.
